Always interested in various self-development techniques, Laurence Schifrine discovered the F.M. Alexander technique and met Marie-Françoise Le Foll. She decided to train in the method in 1989 and, once certified, became her assistant. In 1995, she co-founded a new F.M. Alexander teacher training school with Brigitte Condi and Christine Hardy. Alongside this, she undertook training to become a body therapist following the method of C.G. Dürckheim. She currently works in Paris and Tours, and regularly teaches at the Académie de l’Opéra Bastille.
